I found this little fawn on my walk yesterday. He had a terrible wound on its leg and another on its foot so he couldn’t walk. The RSPCA came and got him. If the leg is broken they’ll put him down no doubt. Maybe I should have left him to be eaten by a badger or fox, they have hungry young too but it was hard to see suffering and walk on by. #deer #wildways #circleoflife
That’s better. Chickens are very happy to have had their run extended.
“What’s that crunching sound, Dad?” “Just a crisp, Son. Go to sleep, your poor Mum needs a break!”
One or two buttercups.
Made a start on the uprights for the chicken fence today. Such amazing weather though, I had to go down the river in the end.
