We’ve been very busy hedgelaying this autumn so there has been little time for gate making. However, once the weather begins to turn wet, we’ll be spending much more time in the workshop catching up on our gate orders. Jeremy has also taught a couple of hedge laying courses over the last couple of months for private clients.
We are already getting booked up for the 2022/23 hedge season which we’re very pleased about, so long as we can still get around to our regular customers.
There are quite a few hedge laying courses coming up, for private clients and also for Our Common Cause, up on Dartmoor. It’s wonderful to see how popular hedge laying is becoming and how many peole are interested in learning it.
Sasha is now also training with the Devon Rural Skills Trust and is about to do a chainsaw ticket so we’ll be able to get hedges laid more efficiently and get around to more customers going forward.
Let us know if you are interested in learning to lay hedges, there are lots of options.
